About Founder

Blaqberri Handmade Skincare is a small business specializing in small batch products. Our products include soaps, body oils, scalp oils, bath accessories and later include body butters and salt scrubs.

Who would have been able to guess that after kids, 2 degrees and 20 years in various administrative roles that I would create a business developing and merchandising skincare products. If you would have told me, I would NOT have believed you! This business actually started as a childhood hobby. I was one of those kids you would find in the bathroom mixing different types of liquid soap, adding perfumes and formulating my "own creation" and I would use them. I would even make my own perfume! Although I can't remember what I put in it, I do remember being ordered to toss it out! Years, later I was taught how to make re-batched soap from a shredded bar. I had no idea at the time - that it was very similar to what we now know as the melt and pour soaps process. For many years it was only shared with immediate family and close friends. Now it is being made available to you and I'm so excited to share.
